KNAPHEIDE AT THE 2011 ICUEE DEMO EXPO

News and post-show report from the 2011 ICUEE Demo Expo in Louisville.

The 2011 ICUEE Demo Expo, held in Louisville, KY, was very successful with nearly 16,600 registered attendees.  The large attendance made the 2011 ICUEE Demo Expo the second biggest on record and pleased many exhibitors, including Knapheide.  Knapheide took this opportunity to showcase some new bodies and new alternative fuel solutions.  New products included an Enclosed KFLT-1 Fuel Lube Truck and a BAF Bi-Fuel CNG 6108D54J Service Body.  Other vehicles on display in Knapheide's Booth included:

• 6108D54J Service Body with I-Pack on a GM 3500 chassis powered by a Baytech CNG Mono Fuel system
• KUV129SUK KUV Body on a Ford E-350 cutaway chassis powered by a Roush LPG Mono Fuel System
• PGNB-96A Gooseneck Body with the Roughneck Contractor package on a Ram 3500 chassis
• KDBDS912A Dump Body with a full cab protector on a GM 3500 chassis
• 6132D54J Service Body with a high canopy roof on a Ford F-550 chassis
• KMT1-11 Mechanics Truck on an International Terrastar chassis
• 6132DL-30J Crane Body on a Ford F-450 chassis
• KMT2-11 Mechanics Truck on a Ford F-750 chassis

Knapheide also took advantage of the partnerships with Ford and GM and displayed vehicles in their booths as well including:

• 6145DL-38J Propane Delivery Crane Body on a Ford F-550 chassis powered by a Roush LPG Mono Fuel system (Ford Booth)

During the show, Knapheide was able to meet with many of its large fleet customers, key accounts, distributors, dealers, and potential end customers.  Haily Meyer, Marketing Manager at Knapheide, said "ICUEE gives us a chance to meet with a lot of decision makers and purchasing agents and allows us to show our product line off to a large number of attendees in just a few days time.  You can't find that degree of value at very many other trade shows."

The 2011 ICUEE Demo Expo was a great success for Knapheide and we would to thank all the attendees that stopped by our booth.  We look forward to the next ICUEE Demo Expo in 2013!
