Extreme Security Forestry Pack

Knapheide's Extreme Security Forestry Pack is engineered to disappoint even the most determined thieves.  Both L and I pack configurations are available.  Features such as our steel security pins and reinforced rotary latches make the Extreme Security Pack nearly impenetrable.  So if you worry about your gear disappearing, check out the Extreme Security Forestry Packs.

Extreme Security Forestry Pack With Power Latching

So it turns out when you eliminate the weakest point of an I or L pack, which is the external latch, you make it the Fort Knox of forestry packs.  The Power Latching Pack has all the same features as our Extreme Security Forestry Pack plus the addition of electronic actuators which are controlled by a key fob, which means no external latches on your forestry pack.  This not only creates an unmatched level of security by anyone in the industry, it also creates a perfect area for displaying your company's graphics.  So when you need the highest level of security in a forestry pack, choose the Extreme Security Forestry Pack with Power Latching. 

Forestry Hoists

Knapheide has ten hoist options for you to match up with your forestry body.  Our hoists range from 8 to 14.5 ton capacities.  All of our hoists are dual acting ensuring your dump will be quick and painless letting you get on your way back to the jobsite. 

Forestry Pintle Hitch

The pintle hitch is strong and secure yet much more mobile compared to a ball and hitch combination.  A pintle hitch is perfect for rough driving conditions and potential off road use which is common in the tree care industry.  Secure your chipper and go with a convenient pintle hitch. 

Wheel Chock Holders

Wheel chocks are a great safety accessory for your chipper or chipper body but there is alway's the questions, where do you store them?  If you put them in the storage packs, then it requires accessing a locked compartment which takes time.  Conveniently placed directly behind the rear tires, Knapheide wheel chock holders offer quick access to your wheel chocks by having an open design.  Our wheel chock holders are angled in so you don't have to worry about your wheel chocks falling out during a rough ride. 

Cone Holder (Forestry Body)

Operator safety is important so you use cones to designate your work area but don't have anywhere to put them?  Try the Forestry Body Cone Holder from Knapheide and store your cones at the front of your vehicle where they don't get in the way of your equipment and tools.  The Cone Holder mounts on the front of your truck and is compatible with the Ford F-550 truck chassis. 

Coal Tar Interior

Constantly spitting chips from your chipper into your Forestry Body will chip away the paint and primer over time, exposing the interior of your body to rust and corrosion.  So to stop that from happening and ensure your Forestry Body will last for years to come there is Coal Tar Interior.  A thick even coat of coal tar protects your Forestry Body from the most extreme applications in the forestry industry. 

Forestry Body Amber Strobe Lights

The Forestry Body Strobe Lights provide increased operator safety.  Four Amber Strobe Lights are flush mounted in the corners of the body roof end rail.

Double Door Rear Gate

Need to maximize your carrying capacity of your Knapheide Forestry Body?  Choose the Double Door Rear Cargo Gate, which deletes the pole pruner and ladder access box and creates more carrying capacity for your Knapheide Forestry Body.  The Double Door Rear Cargo Gate is hinged in two places on both doors and locks in the center.
