The Latest in Utility Vans from Knapheide

One of multiple vehicles showcased at the latest NTEA Work Truck Week was this Ram ProMaster cutaway chassis upfitted into a Knapheide Aluminum KUV Van. Take a look at the features, options and add-ons behind this build.

Inside Our Ram Work Van

Most cargo vans work fine. Until you’ve climbed in and out of one 50 times in a day. That’s the problem Knapheide KUV Vans solve. Even with an upfitted cargo van, everything lives in the back. So every tool grab means climb in, dig around and climb out. With a KUV? You just walk up and open a side compartment, grab what you need, stay on your feet and keep moving. It sounds small, until you do it all day. And no, you’re not giving anything up. You still get a full cargo area in the back. You’re just adding way smarter access on the outside.

At this year's event, Knapheide rolled out its first Aluminum KUV on the Ram ProMaster. And that’s a big deal as its about 35% lighter than the steel version, which means more payload capacity and better fuel efficiency. On top of that, aluminum naturally resists corrosion, so it's built to hold up over time with less maintenance. This build also includes add-ons like a BrandMotion rearview camera system because better visibility equals fewer headaches backing up on tight job sites.

Most vans help you store your tools. This one helps you use them faster, easier, and all day without the grind. And once you stop climbing into the back every time? Yeah… you’re not going back.
