Quincy, IL – February 6, 2017 – The Knapheide Manufacturing Company, North America’s leading provider of work-ready vehicle solutions, has announced an expansion for manufacturing operations slated to begin this year. The expansion includes construction plans for a new manufacturing building to handle the company’s strategic initiative to grow product lines.

“We have identified opportunities for the business to diversify, both with the products we offer and the markets we serve,” said Bo Knapheide, Senior Vice President of Distributor and Fleet Operations. “This is an exciting time for the company and the community. We look forward to strengthening the company and the local economy with this expansion.”

Knapheide will break ground on the new expansion in March and projects the 188,000-square-foot facility will be complete within a year. Knapheide anticipates the expansion will create 250 jobs in manufacturing, installation and various support roles. The building will be positioned on the northwest corner of 30th Street and Kochs Lane.
