Baker Truck Equipment was established in 1936, originally located in Charleston, WV. Baker started out manufacturing large rock truck bodies for the mining industry. Shortly after the rock truck business started to fade, Baker started supplying agricultural products to many government agencys and to local golf courses. Baker Truck Equipment eventually became a multi-faceted company that sold everything from lawn & garden equipment to Yale fork lift equipment and many things in between. Baker Truck Equipment is currently supplying the truck equipment industry with truck bodies, cranes, air compressors, and just about everything it takes to operate a construction business. We will continue to be multi-faceted and take on many more challenges as the market changes.
