KC-Made Vehicles Help Propel Ford to Best Sales in a Decade
Ford Motor Co. saw vehicle sales rise 5.3 percent to 2.61 million in 2015, making it the company's best sales year in the past nine years, driven in large part by Kansas City-made vehicles.
Ford's Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo produces two of the company's most important vehicles: the F-150 pickup truck and the Ford Transit van. Both saw strong sales in 2015.
