We’ve produced high quality, work-ready transportation solutions for nearly two centuries and have become known for our truck bed and truck body manufacturing. (And that’s not surprising, considering this type of manufacturing has been at core of our business since 1910.) But throughout the years, we’ve also grown our company through our product lineup, capabilities, services, locations and network, which has allowed us to become more than just a truck body manufacturer.

KNAPHEIDE IS A TRUCK BODY AND VAN EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER

The Knapheide name has become synonymous with truck body manufacturing, but we also produce van bodies and van equipment.

Today, our most popular work vehicle bodies are service bodies, mechanics bodies (Knapheide Mechanics Trucks (KMTs)) and enclosed utility bodies (Knapheide Utility Vans (KUVs)). We also produce platform bodies, gooseneck bodies, dump bodies, saw bodies, fuel lube truck bodies, forestry bodies and water truck bodies, all of which are produced in our three manufacturing facilities, located in Quincy, Ill. (Two of those facilities are dedicated to producing our more traditional steel bodies, and our other, newer facility is devoted to the production of our aluminum products.)

And while we manufacture an extensive list of work truck bodies and equipment, we aren’t solely focused on our manufacturing capabilities.
