Fixed-side Dump Beds
Our light-duty dump truck bodies aren’t built “light duty” at all. Knapheide Fixed Side Dump Bodies feature double panel, high-strength steel construction on the sides and tailgate. In addition, choose from a seven gauge or 10 gauge HRCQ steel floor.
Choose from two different styles of understructure, either stacked crossmember or crossmemberless design, depending upon your preference. Utilize the double-acting sub frame hoist for effortless dumping and bulk material spreading applications. Numerous options including underbody toolboxes and packs for secure storage, quarter or full cab shields for protection, manual or electric tarps for retaining material and many others are available to increase the functionality and productivity of your next dump body.

Cab Protector
Quarter cab protector constructed of 10 gauge high tensile steel with a punched window for improved operator visibility. Quarter cab protector in straight or tapered style, full cab protector available for full cab protection.
E-Coat Immersion
Knapheide Bodies are fully immersed in Knapheide's 12-step, electrodeposition prime paint system for superior corrosion resistance.
Floor
Floor is constructed of two-piece, 7 gauge HRCQ steel with a full seam weld down the center (Rigid Side models with crossmember understructure features a two-piece 10 gauge floor with full seam weld).
Double-Acting Tailgate
Versatile, double-acting tailgate in order to accommodate both spreader dumping applications and drop down pick-up style dumping applications.
Tailgate
Double panel tailgate construction with 12 gauge HY50 outer panel and 10 gauage HY50 inner panel. Tailgate features a one-handed quick release lever for easy drop-down action.
Side Board Pockets
2x6 side board pockets on the sides at the front and rear allow for increased load capacity when utilizing cheater boards.
Tarp Hook
Rear corner posts equipped with a hook on each side to accept an optional tarp.
Toe Saver Bracket
Toe saver brackets located on both sides of the end rail for operator safety.
Side Construction
Sides are constructed of rugged 12 gauge high tensile steel for durability.
Sloped Rails
Sides and tailgate feature self-cleaning sloped top rails and lower rails for dirt shedding.
Undercoat
Under side of body receives additional corrosion protection with Knapheide's water-based undercoat.
Window Shade Tarp
84" wide by 16' long mesh tarp. Enables legal material hauling in states requiring tarp system.
LED Lights
Installed LED S/T/T lights in rear corner posts for greater visibility with the body in the spreading position. Requires LED option on the standard dump body lights. Offers brighter light and a superior life span compared to incandescent lights.
Metering Chute
Available in both 2-3 yard dump bodies and 3-4 yard dump bodies. Installed in tailgate and features an easy one-handed lift lever to open access door. Metering chute is 17" in width.
Polyboard Extension
Available in 9' or 11' lengths for Knapheide dump body. Polyboard material will not be affected by weather.
Cab Protector
Available in multiple heights for 2-3 yard and 3-4 yard dump bodies.
Vertical Side Bracing
Welded steel construction. Available for any model of Knapheide Rigid Side Dump Body.
Toolboxes
Available for Knapheide Platform, Gooseneck, Dump, and Forestry Bodies for additional storage capacity. Above or under body toolboxes available in multiple sizes to fit your application.
Knap-Pack
Practical storage solution for Dump or Platform bodies. Choose from straight or tapered design.
Bumper
For Platform and Dump Bodies. Dimensions dependent upon chassis manufacturer. Under ride protection required by law and the ICC Bumper provides this protection. ICC Bumpers not needed when hitch is utilized.
Receiver Hitch
All Knapheide Platforms have receiver hitch options available for your hauling needs/demands. Includes under ride protection.
